Fees and Insurance
Accepting cash pay, Out-of-Network benefits, Traditional Medicare, and some commercial insurance plans

Cash Pay
I accept cash pay for all services. My rates are $200 for the first session (60 minutes) and $160 for 55-minute sessions following that.
Some benefits of cash pay include:
-Your information remains completely confidential. Health insurance companies require a diagnosis and treatment must be considered “medically necessary.”
-We get to decide what length and duration of treatment best fits your needs.
-Payments are predictable, which makes budgeting easy. There are no surprises, card is charged at the time of services. No surprise payments due to unmet deductibles, uncovered services, or changes to insurance.
-
Out-of-Network
Some people have Out-of-Network benefits through insurance and can get reimbursed for services. I can provide a Superbill for you to submit to insurance. You pay the cash rate at the time of service and insurance would reimburse their allowed amount.
Please keep in mind that I will have to submit a diagnosis and session durations.
-
Medicare
I accept traditional Medicare (not Medicare Advantage plans). Mental health treatment is done through Medicare Part B.
-
Commercial Insurance
I utilize two services (Alma and Headway) in order to take some commercial insurance plans. If you elect to use insurance, my billing is done through one of these companies.
The commercial plans that I accept through Alma or Headway include Aetna, and all Optum, United Healthcare, Oxford, and Oscar plans. I will have to submit session dates, duration, and diagnoses.
Please note that the fees for services through these companies may be higher than my cash pay rate. They are based on the contracted rate with the insurance companies and Alma/ Headway.
You can contact me by email to set up a consultation.

Spring Health EAP
Find me on Spring Health if your employer has an EAP through them! EAPs offer a limited number of no-cost sessions.
No Surprises Act/ Good Faith Estimate
Starting in 2022, there are new protections that prevent surprise medical bills. If you are opting out of using commercial insurance, or if you are uninsured, I will provide you with a Good Faith Estimate showing the potential cost of services. Please see this PDF below for more information.
